WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE FACING HUMANKIND?
I believe the answer is simple:
Conflict on all levels:
- HUMANS TO NATURE
Conflict is friction!
The political scene is an ongoing battle of conflicting interests between opposing parties.
A huge fraction of a politician’s individual resources is used to simply manage conflict, friction and ongoing debates.
CONFLICT IS FRICTION
On an individual level, if you look at your life, friction is stress.
FRICTION IS STRESS
A part of you wants to chill and relax and another part has to show up on time for a meeting.
Your being is constantly managing this internal flow of frictions.
Friction and stress burn energy.
While you manage attacks on your system you invest a big part of your energy to win these battles.
If we consider the larger scale of the human race, these frictions, tensions and stress are everywhere!
Humankind is constantly fighting for survival.
This is one of the core SHADOW FIELDS facing humankind right now.
Some individuals, groups or even nations might successfully master this challenge.
It is possible to live in peace!
It is posible to be stress free as an individual!
It is possible for a family to be in total harmony!
It is possible for couples to stop arguing!
It is possible for a nation to be at peace with neighbouring nations!
It is possible for a minority to be fully respected!
It is possible for corporations to create goods without destroying the environment!
IT IS POSSIBLE FOR US TO THRIVE AS A HUMAN RACE
While we achieve high levels of success on a small scale, we have still a long way to go on a large scale.
This means that humankind is still trapped in a paradigm that doesn’t reflect our full human potential.
WE NEED NEW CODES!
Many of the programs that direct the human race are outdated!
We need a new set of priorities and an upgrade of our human value system.
HUMANKIND NEEDS AN UPGRADE!
If we look at specific shadow aspects of human civilization, it’s obvious that something isn’t quite right.
The toxicity that prevails ovrecowded cities is obvious.
The extent of human suffering is mind blowing.
The most shocking is that a huge fraction of this suffering is human made.
Humans are creating this suffering for others!
Restricting, abusing, destroying, attacking, bullying entire nations!
These are cave behaviors that are the result of outdated instictual programs.
Energetically there is no real difference between a tribe of monkeys attacking another tribe of monkeys and a nation attacking another nation.
The source instinct that forces humans to behave like animals is still the same as it was 5 millions years ago when we were still apes.
Our weapons and strategies are more sophisticated but the embedded animal instinct to conquer, kill and destroy is still ruling the show.
Without this cruel animal instinct the whole human war game would instantly collapse.
These ancient instincts that were programmed in humankind as survival skills are now working against us.
They are shadows permeating every aspect of human life.
With just a tiny fraction of human resources we could erradicate hunger and poverty, give clean water to every child, protect all ecosystems and clean up our act!
It’s humanly possible!
It would take 20 years!
So why aren’t we doing it?
Because as a human race, we aren’t fully programmed that way yet!
It’s not because humans are stupid!
We are powerful!
But in the core of our instincts, we have ancient outdated programs that we didn’t upgrade yet.
WE NEED AN UPGRADE!
The world and humankind have massively changed and evolved in the last few million years.
And we are still using a set of priorities and values that are outdated.
We function and are often directed by a sublte biochemical reward system.
We mainly do things because of our addiction to biochemical kicks.
When we hug someone we get an oxytocin blast.
When we go to war, we get an adrenaline and dopamine rush.
These biochemicals is what drives our ambition and conquering drive.
It’s happening on all levels of human existence.
WE ARE ADDICTED TO OUR BIOCHEMICALS
And some of these addictions are toxic and self destructive for us as a human race.
The material race for instance comes from a desire to accumulate to create safety.
Imagine yourself in some remote valley 50’000 years ago.
The winter is coming!
To survive you must accumulate enough food reserves to last for the next 6 months.
It’s a matter of survival!
Your system is stressed until you have enough.
When you have enough, you rest and get blasted by a flow of comfort hormones that give you a sense of peace and achievement.
But in that moment of stress before your mission in complete, you get these waves of adrenaline rush.
What does this do to your system?
It makes you feel awake and alive!
It is addictive!
So even if you have enough, you might rest for a day and instinctively decide to keep on going to accumulate even more.
Why? Because being stressed under a shower of constant adrenaline is addictive and “fun”.
You feel alive! You feel high! You feel alert! You feel super present!
Once the challenge is gone you might fall back in a satisfied state that doesn’t give you the same boost.
So you drink a cup of prehistoric coffee and invent a new challenge.
You invent an enemy, imagine reasons to get triggered so that you can start a new war and feel more alive.
Can you see these dynamics playing out in our lifes, around us and on a large scale?
Before we design solutions, we must understand the nature of the human challenge.
Where does it start?
What are the dynamics involved?
What are potential upgrades and solutions?
The conclusion for now is:
There is an immature cave man or cave woman in each one of us!
So who do you think starts wars?
The cave being?
Or the mature, awake, fully integrated human being?
Could a mature integrated humankind really engage into a self destructive arm race and bomb the sh*t out of millions of other human beings including innocent children?
What aspect of humankind is doing that?
Is it our mature or is it our immature aspects?
So let’s ask ourselves this question!
WHAT WOULD AN AWAKENED HUMANKIND DO?
Let’s explore! I love you!
